Senior Propulsion Engineer

What you'll do

• Select and integrate aircraft engines, engine components, and fuel systems on unmanned air vehicles.
• Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems for propulsion.
• Plan and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systems to ensure performance standards.
• Coordinate with engine vendors to develop strategic partnerships and manage projects.
• Support CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces, and structures in propulsion systems.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of propulsion engineering experience on air vehicles (manned or unmanned)
• Professional experience with Turboshaft/Turboprop and Reciprocating engines, including jet and piston engine fundamentals
• Experience in design, fabrication, testing, and CAD for mechanical parts and surface loft
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and hands-on experience with engine cycle decks
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, develop strategic partnerships, and manage development projects
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
