What you'll do

Decompose and refine system cybersecurity requirements at all levels to ensure built-in protections are integrated into architecture and design.
Guide and support security layout architecture while influencing the selection and development of security tools.
Evaluate proposed implementations to identify security risks, analyze attack surfaces, and verify that cybersecurity protections are functional.
Ensure weapon systems comply with contractually obligated standards including CNSSI 1253, DoD 8570, and DoD 8510.
Propose and design cyber systems architecture changes with full traceability to specific requirements.
Provide technical guidance and oversight across teams to ensure timely delivery of products meeting mission cyber requirements.
Perform cyber-attack surface analysis of system designs and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
Participate in cybersecurity assessment activities, including reviewing plans, procedures, and the execution of penetration tests.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 12 years, master's with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years of experience in related technical fields.
18 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Must have current DoD 8570 certification for IASAE Level II (CISSP).
Ability to obtain IASAE Level III certification within 6 months of hire.
Experience utilizing NIST 800-160 system security engineering and the system development life cycle.
Experience developing RMF assessment and authorization documentation.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
