What you'll do

Integrate and verify hardware and software sub-systems for satellite-to-ground link bring-up.
Develop custom hardware, software, and automation solutions to ensure system performance meets design requirements.
Create advanced proof of concept systems to improve network performance and reliability.
Architect and document time, frequency, and space acquisition and tracking algorithms.
Verify link budgets and RF line-ups in various RF and IF configurations.
Develop customized test plans using embedded programming to generate and capture real-time waveforms.
Create time-synchronized setups using signal generators and spectrum analyzers to verify timing budgets.
Develop test bring-up procedures using Linux, Python, and bash scripting.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of wireless communications systems and implementation experience.
Experience in embedded wireless systems or embedded development in C/C++.
Knowledge of network and web protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, or HTTP.
Experience in software development or agile/scrum collaborative workflows.
Experience with RF lab equipment including VNA, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal generators.
