What you'll do

Perform bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems.
Architect, document, and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks.
Test Doppler pre and post compensation techniques in laboratory environments using channel emulators.
Trade link budgets and verify RF line-up for payloads in both RF and IF configurations.
Characterize performance, analyze data, and root-cause system-level issues to ensure high product quality.
Develop test bring-up procedures and automation scripts using Linux, Python, and Bash.
Use spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes to verify time and frequency requirements.
Monitor hardware/software changes by probing RF, IF, clock, and channel quality messages.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
5+ years of professional experience working in L1/L2 or beamforming.
Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test, and integration activities.
Master's or PhD with emphasis in wireless communication systems (preferred).
Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python or Perl (preferred).
Knowledge of 3GPP NTN and ORAN for conformance testing (preferred).
Experience with LTE, 5G/6G, RLC, PDCP, RRC, and RAN protocols (preferred).
