Senior RF and Wireless Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Define RF architecture, line-up designs, and performance specifications for custom ASICs in phased array systems.
• Model and analyze the impact of RF impairments on system performance using MATLAB and ADS.
• Develop algorithms to estimate and correct hardware/firmware impairments like IQ imbalance and LOFT.
• Conduct post-silicon prototyping and define lab test requirements to validate design performance.
• Perform statistical analysis and yield optimization in collaboration with manufacturing engineering teams.
• Balance power, cost, and throughput trade-offs to meet specific product requirements.
• Identify and resolve RF performance bottlenecks through measurement and data analysis.
• Serve as the primary RF systems point of contact across silicon, firmware, software, and test teams.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status.
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Ph.D. with emphasis on RF systems and mmWave RFIC designs is preferred).
• 7+ years of relevant experience in wireless DSP/RF systems engineering for technologies like LTE, 5G-NR, WiFi, or BLE.
• In-depth knowledge of RF architectures and design for low power consumption RFIC and ASIC.
• Experience in RF impairment estimation, compensation techniques, and firmware implementation of DSP algorithms.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ for fixed point DSP algorithm development and simulation.
• Experience using lab equipment for chip bring-up and validation (preferred).
