Sr. Systems Engineer – 5G Air Interface Call Processing joins the Networks Engineering organization to serve as a subject matter expert for multi-functional teams. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in EE or CS; advanced degree is beneficial (preferred).
Minimum of 12 years of industry experience in wireless is required.
Must have understanding of 5G concepts including Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, and LTE-NR interworking.
Strong knowledge of 4G/5G air interface, call processing technologies, and Radio Access Network architecture is required.
Experience with 3GPP Rel-16/17 features and 3GPP Core and RAN networks is required.
Proficiency with protocol analyzers and test tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators is required.
Experience with system engineering activities like feature requirements identification, parameter optimization, and performance analysis is desirable (preferred).
Experience with software development is beneficial (preferred).
