What you'll do

  • Develop feature requirements and convert customer needs into detailed system designs for the development team.
  • Lead technical discussions with carrier organizations regarding 4G/5G RAN development and performance.
  • Author technical proposals, research white papers, design documents, and operator network designs.
  • Perform product and feature performance analysis to evaluate new software releases and third-party products.
  • Provide expert technical support during the pre-sales process to create commercial and technical solutions.
  • Lead testing and deployment efforts for 4G/5G key features, including test plan development and issue analysis.
  • Provide Tier 3 support by troubleshooting scheduler-related issues from customer labs and production networks.
  • Analyze key KPIs to provide optimization guidelines and recommendations for LTE and 5G RAN network performance.

What we're looking for

  • Undergraduate Degree in engineering with 8-10 years of directly related experience is required.
  • A Masters degree with 8+ years of experience is preferred.
  • Must have 4G/5G Call Processing experience with in-depth knowledge of signaling protocols and 5G concepts.
  • Must be experienced and fluent with 3GPP RAN product architecture, design, implementation, and performance improvements.
  • Good understanding of scheduler functionality is beneficial.
  • Experience with system engineering activities such as feature requirements, performance analysis, and test strategy is desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of 3GPP specifications for LTE/LTE-A/5G/VoNR features and protocols is beneficial.
  • Experience with Virtualized RAN solutions or scripting in Python is a plus.
