The Sr. Systems Analyst - Dealer Parts, Service & Warranty joins the Customer Care and Aftersales team to support vehicle lifecycles through warranty administration, service enablement, and dealer parts operations. This role involves leading discovery and analysis for complex business problems, translating broad needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and implementation-ready work packages. You will research software and hardware options, create detailed system design specifications including data models and integration flows, and execute testing protocols to validate performance and reliability. Key skills include systems analysis, product delivery, enterprise application support, and experience with Agile, backlog management, and release planning. You will solve technical and business problems regarding parts cataloging, order entry, and warranty processing while mentoring junior analysts to ensure high-quality requirements and delivery practices.
Translate complex business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and implementation-ready work packages.
Lead discovery and analysis for systems problems across Dealer Parts, Service, and Warranty applications.
Create detailed system design specifications including data models, integration points, and user interfaces.
Coordinate with product, engineering, and QA teams to move work from intake through deployment and validation.
Evaluate custom-built versus SaaS solutions to provide scalable and cost-effective technology recommendations.
Design and execute testing protocols to validate system performance, reliability, and compliance with standards.
Mentor junior analysts on requirements quality, backlog readiness, and problem resolution.
Communicate risks, status updates, and technical recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and business partners.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in systems analysis, business analysis, product delivery, or enterprise application support.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance and apply strong initiative and good judgment.
Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with experience addressing non-standard issues using limited information.
Proven ability to create high-quality requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
Experience collaborating across business and technical teams and influencing outcomes through communication, data, and structured recommendations.
Experience in Agile, product management, backlog management, release planning, and production support environments (preferred).
