The Sr Analyst, System Analyst joins the Customer Solutions BSA team to support the Enterprise Information Management System application. This role involves performing end-to-end systems analysis by leading discovery, clarifying business outcomes, and defining requirements for development and testing. The analyst will manage the complete requirements lifecycle, including elicitation, documentation, and traceability, while performing data and integration analysis. Key technical competencies include understanding data mappings, APIs, batch processing, Kafka, MDM, and cross-system dependencies. The position requires solving production issues through root-cause analysis and collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable outcomes. The work involves delivering secure technology solutions across various domains, including data warehouses, web, and cloud platforms, specifically addressing business needs within the insurance and financial services industries.
Lead end-to-end systems analysis to define requirements, document impacts, and prepare work for development and testing.
Analyze data mappings, APIs, batch processing, Kafka, MDM, and cross-system dependencies.
Investigate production issues to perform root-cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions.
Translate business outcomes into actionable functional and non-functional requirements and scoped technology features.
Administer the requirements lifecycle including elicitation, documentation, traceability, validation, and change management.
Facilitate requirements discussions using visualization and visual management techniques to align business stakeholders.
Apply secure software and systems engineering practices to protect data and technology solutions from threats.
Perform analysis of business needs, applications, and processes to support delivery and quality improvement.
What we're looking for
Three or more years of relevant work experience in software delivery or educational experience within a technology domain.
Experience delivering technology and/or business solutions across industries, platforms, and/or lines of business within the insurance and/or financial services industries.
Demonstrated capability in managing the requirements lifecycle, including facilitation, elicitation, and documenting requirements.
Strong understanding of data mappings, data quality, APIs, batch processing, Kafka, MDM, and cross-system dependencies.
Ability to lead end-to-end systems analysis, including discovery, defining requirements, and documenting impacts for development and testing.
Ability to perform root-cause analysis on production issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field (preferred).
