Senior RF Test Systems Development Engineer, Avionics Verification and Test

What you'll do

• Architect, design, build, and sustain RF test systems for satellite payload and avionics units.
• Decompose verification requirements into testable specifications and develop detailed test procedures.
• Design and deliver hardware, fixtures, and tooling to optimize production throughput and fault coverage.
• Build quantitative models for test coverage, reliability, and throughput to inform design trade studies.
• Automate and optimize test processes to meet high-rate manufacturing and first-pass yield targets.
• Perform root cause analysis on test failures and lead corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with electrical, mechanical, thermal, software, and firmware teams on verification strategies.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics systems.
• 5+ years of experience designing and integrating test systems for hardware/PCBA validation.
• 3+ years of scripting or programming experience in Python, MATLAB, C, or LabVIEW.
• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
• Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with RF sub-systems, PCBA's, power supplies, IMUs, sensors, or high-speed signal characterization.
