What you'll do

Architect and build software to automate hardware test systems for satellite components.
Develop software infrastructure to support automated test case execution and data collection.
Build automation tools to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Write Python code to test satellite hardware, including telemetry debugging and environmental stress testing.
Interface with electrical test equipment using SCPI protocols on Linux-based test racks.
Translate hardware engineering requirements into automated test logic for production scale.
Manage software quality, release processes, and the creation of end-user documentation.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
8+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices and SDLC (preferred).
