JOB TITLE: Sr Production TPM, AMZ Leo Production Ops
The Sr Production TPM, AMZ Leo Production Ops joins the Leo team to manage the production value stream for a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. This highly technical role involves owning the production roadmap to source, build, test, and integrate satellites. You will drive daily execution across supply chain, planning, fulfillment, and production teams while creating data models and tools to monitor and optimize these value streams. Key responsibilities include identifying manufacturing risks, developing mitigation strategies, and translating strategic goals into actionable plans. You must utilize data analytics, data modeling, and integrated hardware and software knowledge to solve complex manufacturing problems. Required skills include SQL, Tableau, Excel, and Lean/Six Sigma to ensure operational excellence and scalable production for satellite manufacturing.
Own the production roadmap for value streams to source, build, test, and integrate satellites.
Create data models and tools to measure, monitor, and optimize production value streams against annual goals.
Drive daily execution across supply chain, planning, fulfillment, and manufacturing teams.
Develop new business processes and tools to standardize operations and ensure excellence across the production stream.
Identify manufacturing risks and develop mitigation strategies and recovery plans.
Analyze production data to identify trends and implement improvements through PDCA cycles.
Manage executive communication by delivering artifacts that highlight activities, accomplishments, challenges, and risks.
Develop and manage operational rhythms for all production operations teams.
What we're looking for
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
A Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required (or an Associate's degree).
3+ years of technical product or program management experience is required.
3+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management is required.
3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation experience is required.
4+ years of delivering cross-functional projects experience is required.
Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering is required.
5+ years of data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau and 5+ years of driving process improvements are preferred.
