Senior Technical Program Manager - Mech Systems

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for satellite mechanical hardware and software across the full development lifecycle.
• Ensure all programs meet specific schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for mechanical hardware teams to lead technical discussions and manage trade-offs.
• Identify and mitigate programmatic risks while navigating ambiguity with internal and external partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional deliverables across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Communicate program status and critical issues clearly to executive leadership.
• Align design teams to program milestones and convene technical expertise to unblock issues.
• Manage vendor relationships and track delivery progress.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum for export control compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, and systems engineering.
• 3+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance, or hands-on engineering environment experience (preferred).
• Experience in test engineering or systems engineering (preferred).
