Senior Manager, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage a team of systems engineers by providing training, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Prioritize daily work and projects to ensure the on-time delivery of high-availability IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with technology and business leaders to develop technology strategies and infrastructure standards.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships to evaluate technology options and associated costs.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure for production and corporate environments.
• Drive infrastructure lifecycle management to ensure compliance with current software and hardware versions.
• Support vulnerability management and active threat processes to protect the integrity of technology systems.
• Create and edit technology policies, procedures, and associated documentation.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of ten years of information technology systems engineering experience is required.
• Minimum of five years of management or related experience is required.
• Progressive experience managing professional relationships with vendors and contractors is necessary.
• General knowledge of Linux, Windows (workstation and server), networking, and application support is required.
• Knowledge of data migration, consolidation, and disaster recovery methodologies is required.
• Experience leading teams that deploy, secure, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in enterprise environments (preferred).
