Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering (Hardware)

What you'll do

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of RF, Electrical, and Mechanical engineers to deliver military aircraft hardware.
• Develop, review, and approve hardware engineering bids and management-level reports.
• Forecast staffing needs and develop hiring plans to maintain required skills and experience levels.
• Oversee pilot assembly activities and environmental lab testing procedures.
• Manage department-level budgets and make capital expenditure recommendations to maximize productivity.
• Develop and deploy hardware engineering process standards for quality, schedule, and cost performance.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations using statistical analysis and disciplined problem-solving.
• Champion continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives with sector and segment leadership.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience leading RF and digital hardware design teams within a DoW/DoD environment.
• Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience leading RF and digital hardware design teams within a DoW/DoD environment.
• Minimum of 16 years of experience leading RF and digital hardware design teams within a DoW/DoD environment in lieu of a degree.
• Experience designing RF and digital hardware (preferred).
• Experience implementing signal processing algorithms in FPGA designs (preferred).
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, RTCA DO-160, and MIL-STD-810 regarding EME and environmental testing (preferred).
