Senior Manager, Digital Design and Signal Processing

What you'll do

• Manage a large team of engineers and sub-managers supporting networking and cryptographic technologies.
• Guide technical direction and life-cycle execution of complex development efforts from concept through system integration.
• Perform staffing assignments, talent forecasting, hiring, and employee career development and mentoring.
• Oversee requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification planning across FPGA and HDL solutions.
• Drive technical risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution across development and production efforts.
• Support bid and proposal efforts including technical volume creation and customer demonstrations for new business.
• Establish and enforce disciplined software and HDL engineering processes, tools, and metrics to ensure technical quality.
• Partner with functional engineering organizations to ensure technical execution aligns with program objectives and schedules.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline with at least 12 years of related experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 10 years of related experience.
• Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.
• Minimum of 3 years of technical, functional, or engineering management experience leading teams on complex defense or aerospace programs (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years experience developing Networking, Cryptographic, Waveform, or DSP related systems (preferred).
• Thorough development experience with VHDL, C, C++, and Matlab in addition to complex multi-FPGA systems (preferred).
• Experience leading or supporting certification of High Assurance Cryptographic devices (preferred).
