What you'll do

  • Manage a large team of engineers and sub-managers supporting networking and cryptographic technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership across the full development lifecycle from concept through system integration and test.
  • Oversee requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, and verification planning for FPGA and HDL solutions.
  • Drive technical risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution across production efforts.
  • Manage staffing, hiring, mentoring, and career development for the engineering organization.
  • Support bid and proposal efforts including technical volume creation and customer demonstrations.
  • Ensure high-quality technical artifacts like specifications, test plans, and interface control documents are produced.
  • Establish and enforce disciplined software and HDL engineering processes to ensure quality and compliance.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 12 years of experience.
  • Graduate Degree with at least 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical, functional, or engineering management experience on complex defense or aerospace programs (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience developing Networking, Cryptographic, Waveform, or DSP related systems (preferred).
  • Experience with risk management, earned value/schedule-driven execution, and cross-team coordination (preferred).
  • Experience in secure development environments, classified program execution, and technical writing for new business pursuits (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
