Crypto Director, Platform Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and execute technical roadmaps for identity, authentication, authorization, KMS, secrets, PKI, and certificates.
• Lead engineering teams in developing monitoring platforms, automation frameworks, control planes, and operational tooling.
• Establish platform strategies to standardize runtimes, APIs, and SDKs across multiple teams.
• Govern cross-group compatibility, security controls, and high-risk migrations with SRE and security partners.
• Drive operational efficiency through observability, engineering excellence, and cloud service efficiency initiatives.
• Manage organizational planning, including resource allocation, hiring, and talent development for engineering managers.
• Oversee complex projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues and product defects.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required, or equivalent practical experience.
• Candidates must have at least 12 years of software engineering experience.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of engineering leadership experience, including leading managers and multiple engineering teams.
• Experience operating large-scale distributed cloud services is required.
• Experience with monitoring, automation, observability, infrastructure platforms, or control-plane technologies is required.
• Strong systems architecture and operational leadership experience is required.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
