Senior Industrial Engineer, Optimization

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and optimize distribution networks to improve cost efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage advanced automation systems and labor management programs within distribution centers.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify inefficiencies and develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Manage project finances including estimating expenditures, tracking costs, and ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
• Provide guidance, training, and leadership to interns, new hires, and other engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in IT and logistics to integrate industrial engineering solutions.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations research, statistics, or business is required.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma and experience in logistics may substitute for the degree.
• Candidates must have experience in network optimization within a distribution, supply chain, or logistics environment.
• Candidates must have experience with tools like Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Optilogic, JDA Strategist, or Gurobi.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Alteryx or TableauPrep, SQL, and project management tools is required for .
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, and proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with distribution automation technologies and labor management systems is preferred.
