What you'll do

Build 3D simulation-based virtual factories to serve as an operational knowledge base for manufacturing processes.
Create feasible production plans and schedules by ensuring resource capacity, material availability, and timeline feasibility.
Maintain a data-driven digital reference model of the factory to inform future performance and investment decisions.
Design new production lines and workstation layouts using a data-driven approach for both low and full-rate production.
Identify and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks caused by layout constraints, equipment limitations, or staffing shortages.
Translate metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and first pass yield into actionable improvements for production line health.
Develop capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards for manufacturing work content.
Drive end-to-end operational improvements for next-generation defense products during the scaling of production rates.

What we're looking for

Must have at least 8 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience with Technomatix Plant Sim or equivalent discrete event simulation software is required.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, R, C++, Java) or handling large datasets with SQL/No-SQL is required.
Ability to read technical documentation including facility drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles is preferred.
Prior experience with ERP, WMS, and MES systems is preferred.
