Senior Industrial Engineer

What you'll do

• Build 3D simulation-based virtual factories to serve as the primary knowledge base for manufacturing processes and operational logic.
• Create feasible production plans and schedules by ensuring all operations meet resource capacity, material availability, and timeline requirements.
• Maintain a data-driven digital reference model of the factory to inform future performance predictions and investment decisions.
• Design new production lines and workstation layouts using a data-driven approach for both low and full-rate production.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks caused by layout constraints, equipment limitations, or staffing shortages.
• Translate metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and first pass yield into actionable improvements for production line health.
• Develop capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards for manufacturing work content.
• Drive end-to-end operational improvements for next-generation defense products as they scale in maturity and production volume.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Technomatix Plant Sim or equivalent discrete event simulation software is required.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, R, C++, Java) or handling large datasets with SQL/No-SQL is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including facility drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Preferred candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles is preferred.
• Prior experience with ERP, WMS, and MES systems is preferred.
