Senior Engineer, Electronics Packaging, Configuration Management

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end electrical engineering configuration management lifecycle from component initiation to contract manufacturer handoff.
• Define and enforce PCBA lifecycle standards, BOM structures, and revision control protocols across all design projects.
• Drive synchronization between component library systems and PLM databases to ensure data integrity for engineering releases.
• Author and maintain configuration management standards and engineering process documentation for the electrical domain.
• Govern the release of custom modules and ASICs to ensure full traceability and compliance with release standards.
• Establish single-source-of-truth practices and automated verification for Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Develop and deliver electrical engineering configuration management training and onboarding materials for project teams.
• Identify workflow pain points to author business requirements and proposals for tool improvements.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in configuration management, product data management, or engineering process ownership in an EE/ECAD environment.
• Hands-on experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred) and ECAD tools (Mentor/Siemens Xpedition preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of PCBA design-to-manufacturing workflows, including BOM management, revision control, and release processes.
• Experience authoring and governing engineering process documentation and standards.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to drive standardization across multiple project teams.
