Senior Director, Security Strategy & Operations

What you'll do

• Define and execute the strategic vision for a complex portfolio of security initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Develop comprehensive governance frameworks, technical roadmaps, and scalable processes for large-scale architectural and design reviews.
• Manage annual operating budgets, including tracking actual spending against forecasts and approving all related expenses.
• Partner with executive leadership to implement security policies that protect the business without disrupting customer operations.
• Act as a primary escalation point for complex obstacles and represent the team in high-level leadership forums.
• Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and OKRs to measure the success of security solutions and report progress to stakeholders.
• Oversee the development of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks and training programs to improve organizational risk awareness.
• Lead teams in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating emerging threats using AI-powered intelligence and automated machine learning models.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in project management, operations, or engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience in project management, operations, or engineering.
• Equivalent experience to the specified educational and professional requirements is acceptable.
• Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
• Master's degree and 12+ years of experience in project management, operations, or engineering (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience in project management, operations, or engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of people management experience (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in security programs, cyber security, software development lifecycle, large scale computing, threat modeling, or anomaly detection (preferred).
