The Director Security Cloud Solution Architect joins the Customer & Commercial Success team to lead a group of Americas Security Architects in a customer-facing capacity. Drive innovation through intellectual property development and industry engagement to promote Microsoft's technology vision.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture.
3+ years of people management experience, including managing technical sales managers or technical architect managers.
6+ years of experience in security technical sales, customer success, engineering, or consultative delivery.
Expertise in cybersecurity fundamentals, including the threat landscape, attacker techniques, and defense strategies.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Security solutions such as Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Purview Data Security, and Entra ID.
Ability to lead executive-level discussions with Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) and manage complex customer escalations.
Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, or specific certifications in Microsoft Security architecture and cloud platforms.
