What you'll do

  • Own the technology strategy and delivery for Global Benefits, Global Mobility, Business Travel, and Expatriate Payroll & Tax.
  • Manage a global benefits vendor ecosystem including application ownership, risk management, and performance governance.
  • Drive the migration of U.S. pension systems from legacy PeopleSoft to modern, secure, cloud-native technologies.
  • Deliver end-to-end integration and automation of benefits data into payroll to enable touchless payroll across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Set engineering standards for full-stack development, serverless design on AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Embed automated security controls and policy-as-code into pipelines to ensure compliance with SOX and tax reporting requirements.
  • Direct the adoption of AI-enabled engineering workflows and agentic AI models while establishing safety guardrails for regulated environments.
  • Lead, hire, and develop large cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable and resilient technology solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
  • Deep experience delivering technology across benefits, payroll, mobility, or HR domains in a large, highly regulated, global enterprise.
  • Hands-on and leadership-level expertise in software development with Java and Python on AWS, including serverless and cloud-native design.
  • Strong full-stack capability including modern front-end development (React, TypeScript) and API-first design using GraphQL and REST.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline as Code, and automated CI/CD with embedded security and controls.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional technology teams and managing large vendor ecosystems including risk management and performance tracking.
  • Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models and understanding responsible AI risk.
