What you'll do

Own the technology strategy and governance for global benefits, mobility, travel, and expatriate payroll systems.
Manage a large ecosystem of over 125 global benefits vendors, including risk management and performance tracking.
Lead the migration of legacy pension systems into modern, secure, cloud-native technologies on AWS.
Automate end-to-end data integration between benefit systems and payroll to enable touchless processing across multiple jurisdictions.
Establish engineering standards for full-stack development, serverless architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
Embed security-by-design and compliance controls into software pipelines to meet strict regulatory and tax requirements.
Drive the adoption of AI-enabled engineering workflows and agentic tools while maintaining safety guardrails.
Lead, hire, and develop large cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
10+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items.
Experience delivering technology across benefits, payroll, mobility, or HR domains in a large, regulated global enterprise.
Expertise in Java and Python on AWS with serverless and cloud-native design patterns.
Full-stack capability including React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST API-first design.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline as Code, and automated CI/CD with embedded security controls.
Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering and managing large vendor ecosystems.
