What you'll do

Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Define the technology strategy, architecture standards, and data strategy for the audit technology ecosystem.
Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions and product roadmaps.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle for concurrent projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and software development standards.
Scale multi-department strategies for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC automation.
Mentor and coach software engineers and development leads to enhance their technical and leadership skills.
Manage resource allocation, budgets, and strategic planning for the software engineering department.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
Strong background in financial technology and understanding of data-intensive applications.
Expertise in programming languages including Java, Python, Angular, and GenAI.
Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
Proficiency in Oracle database management and optimization.
Proven track record of leading large-scale software development projects and managing budgets and resources.
Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models and deep understanding of responsible AI risk. (preferred)
