Senior Customer Delivery Engineer

What you'll do

• Act as the primary technical authority and advisor for customers integrating with the Amazon Leo satellite network.
• Lead complex implementation activities including architecture design, system configuration, and deployment of network integrations.
• Develop custom code and API scripts to automate functions and meet specific customer back-office requirements.
• Scope and deliver paid, Statement of Work (SOW) based projects for bespoke integrations and multi-region rollouts.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance during customer testing, validation, and training sessions.
• Oversee third-party Professional Services partners to ensure they meet technical standards and quality governance.
• Create automation tools and internal runbooks to streamline delivery processes and improve scalability.
• Translate complex customer requirements into technical specifications for engineering and product teams.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 4 years of experience architecting or operating solutions on a major cloud service provider like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Must have 3+ years of experience in IP network and architecture design.
• Must have experience scripting in modern programming languages or operating highly available distributed systems for large data processing.
• Must have experience delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.
• Must have experience leading system integration, deployment, and testing activities.
• Must have experience writing and publishing technical documents.
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens, nationals, permanent residents, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Preferred: Experience in network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP).
• Preferred: Experience directing third-party system integrators or delivery partners against a defined quality bar.
• Preferred: Experience with System Integration as a Systems Engineer, preferably in wireless cellular or satellite technology.
• Preferred: Knowledge of security and compliance standards.
