As an Agile Delivery Engineer, Mid, you will guide and coach a development team to perform at its highest level while ensuring steady progress across various initiatives. You will execute Agile and Kanban methodologies throughout the product lifecycle, lead Scrum ceremonies, manage project intake meetings, and identify blockers to ensure continuous delivery momentum. Your daily work involves facilitating backlog refinement, retrospectives, and technical working sessions while managing risks and dependencies for software delivery. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence for tracking the SDLC and documentation. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance and experience supporting IT programs or technical project delivery. You will serve as a key point of communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote quality-focused practices within a fast-paced environment.
Coach development teams to perform at their highest level and adhere to Agile principles.
Execute Agile and Kanban methodologies throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Lead Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
Identify and remove blockers, risks, and dependencies to ensure steady project progress.
Coordinate customer intake meetings, scope refinement, and roadmap planning sessions.
Manage backlogs and track SDLC progress using Jira, GitLab, and Confluence.
Serve as the primary point of communication between the development team and stakeholders.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting IT programs or technical project delivery.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a Kanban environment, including Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
Experience with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence for backlog management, SDLC tracking, documentation, reporting, and team collaboration.
Experience coordinating customer intake sessions, scope refinement, roadmap planning meetings, and technical working sessions.
Experience identifying, managing, and communicating dependencies, risks, blockers, and action items to support software delivery.
Experience supporting U.S. Government or Federal contracts; coaching teams on continuous improvement; facilitating cross-functional collaboration; and holding CSM, PSM, SSM, or other Agile certifications (preferred).
