What you'll do

Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, and functional performance analysis for complex systems.
Conduct trade studies and interface definition studies for various system elements.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures for space-based systems.
Execute systems integration, verification, and validation testing to ensure hardware and software reliability.
Perform mission, functional, cost-benefit, and risk analyses to inform engineering decisions.
Design and develop space payloads including SmallSats and CubeSats.
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like SysML or MagicDraw for system modeling.
Develop digital signal processing algorithms for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Active TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Agile experience (preferred).
Experience with digital signal processing algorithm development for statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements (preferred).
Working knowledge of MATLAB for DSP, Radar Processing, Monte Carlo analysis, or Phased Array/Beam Forming (preferred).
Experience in Python, SmallSats/CubeSats, Hardware Prototype Development, MBSE, or Space Payloads (preferred).
