What you'll do

Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, and functional and performance analysis for complex systems.
Conduct trade studies, system design, and interface definition studies for various system elements.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures for space-based hardware and software.
Execute systems integration, verification, and validation testing to ensure reliability and safety requirements are met.
Perform mission, functional, cost-benefit, and risk analyses to inform engineering decisions.
Design and develop digital signal processing algorithms for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements.
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw or Cameo to model system architectures.
Develop hardware prototypes and perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) systems integration and testing.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field is required.
Requires 8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Experience with digital signal processing algorithm development and related theories is preferred.
Proficiency in MATLAB for DSP and knowledge of radar processing or phased array systems is a plus.
Preferred skills include Python, Agile methodologies, and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Experience with SmallSats, CubeSats, and hardware integration/testing is preferred.
