What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, and performance analysis for space systems.
Conduct trade studies, system integration and testing, verification, and interface definition studies.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures for space-based hardware and software.
Utilize MATLAB and other tools to develop digital signal processing algorithms for signal parameter measurements.
Manage the systems development life cycle using requirements management and system modeling tools.
Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML methodologies to design complex aerospace solutions.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Active TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Experience with digital signal processing algorithm development for statistical analysis is preferred.
Working knowledge of MATLAB for DSP and background in Radar Processing or Phased Array/Beam Forming is a plus.
Agile experience is preferred.
Experience in Python, SmallSats, CubeSats, hardware integration, MBSE, or space payloads is preferred.
