Specialist IS Engineer, Citrix

What you'll do

• Manage and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure for global enterprise performance and scalability.
• Administer Citrix ADC (NetScaler) environments including GSLB, WAF, and SSL certificate management.
• Design and implement secure remote access solutions using Citrix Gateway and nFactor authentication.
• Perform regular patching, firmware updates, and platform upgrades following enterprise change management policies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving user sessions, authentication flows, and backend networking integrations.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for all Citrix and NetScaler-related incidents.
• Document configurations, architecture decisions, and operational runbooks to ensure audit compliance and continuity.
• Monitor system alerts to identify systemic issues and implement long-term corrective actions.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Doctorate degree, or a Master’s with 2 years, or a Bachelor’s with 4 years, or an Associate’s with 8 years, or a High School diploma with 10 years of experience in IT/Computer Science.
• Must have 3 to 6 years of experience managing and supporting Citrix environments.
• Must have strong experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud administration and architecture.
• Must have hands-on expertise with Citrix ADC features including GSLB, WAF, Content Switching, Load Balancing, Citrix Gateway, and nFactor MFA integration.
• Must be proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication technologies.
• Must be familiar with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Must have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, and high-availability architectures.
• Must have experience in regulated or GxP-compliant environments (preferred); must have Citrix CCA-V, CCP-N, CCE-N, or Microsoft Windows Server/Azure certifications (preferred).
