Specialist IS Engineer, Citrix

What you'll do

• Manage and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure for global enterprise performance and scalability.
• Administer Citrix ADC (NetScaler) environments including GSLB, WAF, content switching, and SSL certificate management.
• Implement secure remote access solutions using Citrix Gateway and multi-factor authentication integrations.
• Perform routine patching, firmware updates, and platform upgrades following enterprise change management policies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving user sessions, authentication flows, and backend network integrations.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for all Citrix and NetScaler related incidents.
• Create technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and architecture runbooks to support audit compliance.
• Monitor system alerts to identify systemic issues and implement long-term corrective actions.

What we're looking for

• A relevant degree (Doctorate, Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate's) combined with the required years of experience in IT or Computer Science.
• 3 to 6 years of experience managing and supporting Citrix environments.
• Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops, Cloud administration, and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler) features including GSLB, WAF, Content Switching, and Load Balancing.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication technologies.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, and high-availability architectures.
• Preferred certifications include Citrix CCA-V, CCP-N, CCE-N, or Microsoft Windows Server/Azure Administrator.
