The Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst joins the Information Systems team to drive digital and AI-enabled transformation by connecting business needs with practical technology solutions. Lead medium-to-large digital, automation, data, analytics, and AI-enabled initiatives from business need through implementation.
Translate business needs into system requirements, user stories, process flows, and measurable success criteria.
Manage project scope, delivery plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies for cross-functional teams.
Support the computerized system lifecycle, including validation, change control, integrations, and periodic reviews.
Identify opportunities to automate business processes, eliminate manual activities, and improve data quality.
Operationalize data sources, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Identify AI/ML and Generative AI use cases while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and GxP requirements.
Communicate project status, technical approaches, and business value to stakeholders and leadership.
What we're looking for
Must hold a Doctorate degree, or a Master’s with 2 years, or a Bachelor’s with 4 years, or an Associate’s with 8 years, or a High School diploma with 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
Preferred experience in business systems analysis, including requirements elicitation, process discovery, business process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Preferred experience leading or supporting medium-to-large technology, digital, automation, data, analytics, or AI-enabled initiatives involving cross-functional teams.
Preferred experience supporting computerized systems in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, or other regulated environment.
Preferred working knowledge of GxP, computerized system lifecycle, validation/qualification, change control, data integrity, access management, audit trails, electronic records, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
Preferred experience with project management and Agile delivery practices, including scope, schedule, risk, backlog management, sprint planning, testing, UAT, defect management, and release readiness.
Preferred experience with data visualization and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Databricks, or comparable technologies.
Preferred working knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies, including business use-case identification and responsible AI principles.
