What you'll do

  • Develop virtualized packages for mission baseline applications consumed by VDI sessions and thick clients.
  • Validate mission application behavior in coordination with application testers and subject matter experts.
  • Identify and persist user application settings across non-persistent VDI environments.
  • Automate application sequencing processes to streamline deployment for mission applications.
  • Configure application delivery infrastructure and troubleshoot performance using VMware software-defined data center tools.
  • Analyze, test, and apply regular security patches and software updates to virtualization products.
  • Create detailed technical documentation including designs, test plans, implementation plans, and training guides.
  • Resolve incidents and fulfill software requests within project management time and cost constraints.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must currently possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience with Systems Administration/Virtualization (additional training or experience may substitute for degree).
  • 8140.01M IAT Level II certification.
  • 3+ years of experience with VDI technologies, including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • 2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or comparable application virtualization technology.
  • Experience with Windows Desktop (10/11) and Server (2012+) Operating Systems (preferred).
