What you'll do

Develop virtualized packages for mission baseline applications to be used in VDI sessions and thick clients.
Validate mission application behavior by collaborating with testers and subject matter experts.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline the application sequencing process.
Manage user application settings, such as registry and AppData, to ensure persistence in non-persistent environments.
Configure and maintain delivery infrastructure for VDI and virtualization teams.
Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning using VMware software-defined data center products.
Apply regular security patches and software updates to maintain system integrity.
Create technical documentation including design plans, test cases, and training guides.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Virtualization.
8140.01M IAT Level II certification is required.
3+ years of experience with VDI technologies including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or comparable application virtualization technology like Microsoft App-V or FlexApp.
Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, and general Virtualization Technology.
