Spares Inventory Analyst

What you'll do

• Analyze global spare parts inventory to align with customer service requirements and business objectives.
• Monitor key performance metrics including inventory turns, excess stock, forecast accuracy, and service levels.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards to provide visibility into inventory performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis on inventory imbalances and develop corrective action plans.
• Perform scenario analysis to assess the impact of demand changes, supply disruptions, and policy adjustments.
• Identify and implement improvements for inventory planning processes, analytics, and business systems.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership regarding inventory optimization and working capital efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's, or a PhD with 3 years of experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, materials management, demand planning, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles including safety stock, reorder point planning, and service level management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience within semiconductor equipment, service supply chain, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of spare parts planning, aftermarket operations, inventory optimization, and ERP/planning systems like SAP or Kinaxis (preferred).
