What you'll do

Design and architect scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies while communicating the business value of MongoDB solutions.
Conduct technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof of value exercises to win new deals.
Partner with sales teams to manage account planning, opportunity prioritization, and pipeline generation.
Proactively generate demand through self-driven technical initiatives and participation in industry events.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
Provide feedback from the field to the product team to drive innovation and process improvements.
Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay current on MongoDB products and industry trends.

What we're looking for

5 to 8 years of related industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
At least 2 years of professional experience with modern or popular programming languages like Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-premise environments.
Ability to review complex architectures and provide guidance on technical improvements to customers.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical and business concepts to leadership.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
