Senior Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales

What you'll do

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies while communicating the business value of the platform.
• Conduct technical discovery, product demonstrations, proof of value assessments, and sizing for potential deals.
• Collaborate with sales teams to prioritize opportunities, generate pipelines, and develop multi-threaded account strategies.
• Proactively generate demand through self-driven technical initiatives and participation in industry trade shows.
• Review complex architectures of existing applications to provide guidance on technology improvements.
• Relay field feedback to the product team to drive continuous innovation and process improvement.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay updated on industry trends and product suites.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be based in Minneapolis for a hybrid working model.
• Ideally 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ideally 5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting or popular programming languages.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience selling databases, deploying cloud applications, or working with data engineering and AI/ML projects (preferred).
