As a Solution Engineer - Cloud & AI Applications, you will join a team focused on transforming the developer experience for cloud and AI applications. You will drive technical sales by conducting demos, Proofs of Concepts, hackathons, and architecture workshops to help customers adopt innovative technologies like Agentic AI. Your daily work involves collaborating with engineering leaders to design secure, scalable architectures and resolve technical blockers while guiding enterprise developers through the full development lifecycle. The role requires expertise in AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, and Responsible AI, alongside cloud-native development skills including APIs, containerization, microservices, and event-driven systems. You will utilize tools such as GitHub, Copilot Studio, VS Code, Jupyter, PyCharm, and languages like Python, Java, C#, and Node.js to help customers modernize applications and realize the full value of an AI-powered platform.
Drive technical sales using demos and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to influence solution design and production deployments.
Lead hands-on engagements including hackathons, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops to accelerate tool adoption.
Co-design secure and scalable architectures with developers and platform leads.
Resolve technical blockers and objections by collaborating with engineering teams to improve products.
Maintain deep expertise in AI Foundry, Agentic AI frameworks, and cloud-native development technologies.
Manage AI security and operations including Gen AI Ops, Sentinel, and monitoring systems.
Represent the company through thought leadership in developer communities and customer forums.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required for candidates with 2+ years of experience.
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required for candidates with 1+ year of experience.
Candidates without a degree must have at least 3 years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
Preferred candidates should have 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience.
Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure architecture designs, migrations, and technology management is preferred.
Proficiency in Agentic frameworks, AI Management & Security (Gen AI Ops, Sentinel, Responsible AI), and full stack application modernization is required.
Skills in programming languages and tools such as Python, Java, .NET, C#, C++, GitHub, or Copilot Studio are required.
Proven ability to lead technical engagements like hackathons, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and MVPs to drive production outcomes is preferred.
