What you'll do

Design and implement modular ETL workflows using PySpark for data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines within Databricks to deliver high-quality data for client deliverables.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
Create consolidated enterprise data warehouses and data lakes to store critical healthcare information.
Monitor production jobs and provide operational support to troubleshoot failures and ensure system reliability.
Optimize data models and transformation logic to improve accuracy for downstream analytics and reporting.
Ensure all data processing complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and PHI handling guidelines.
Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions by visualizing and mapping data flows.

What we're looking for

A Master's degree in Data Science or Computer Science with 3 years of experience designing ETL pipelines is required.
A Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience designing ETL pipelines is accepted as an alternative.
Experience designing and developing robust ETL pipelines using PySpark, Scala, SQL, and Shell scripting is required.
Proficiency with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, and Snowflake is required.
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Kafka is required.
Experience with AWS tools including Glue, IAM, EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, Athena, Step Functions, and Lambda is required.
Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, Terraform, Git, and Jira.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and PHI handling guidelines, is required.
