Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. is seeking Software Engineering Advisors to build and maintain scalable data pipelines within Databricks. Additionally, you will use GitHub Actions, Tableau, Power BI, RabbitMQ, and NLP techniques to deliver actionable insights.

What you'll do

Design and implement modular ETL workflows using PySpark for large-scale medical data ingestion and transformation.
Monitor production jobs and provide operational support to troubleshoot data failures and ensure system reliability.
Design and develop consolidated enterprise data warehouses and data lakes for customer, provider, and claims data.
Optimize data models and transformation logic to improve accuracy for downstream analytics and reporting.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
Ensure all data processing complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and PHI handling guidelines.
Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and visualized data flows.

What we're looking for

Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience designing ETL pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience designing ETL pipelines.
Experience designing and developing ETL pipelines using PySpark, Scala, SQL, and Shell scripting.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, Snowflake, and Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Kafka.
Experience with AWS tools including Glue, IAM, EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, Athena, Step Functions, and Lambda.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, and Jira.
Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with RabbitMQ, Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, and Delta tables in Databricks.
