What you'll do

Develop application profiles, enterprise class structures, and user access control strategies.
Perform risk assessments and technical feasibility studies to validate proposed solutions.
Create comprehensive design documents for Pega workflows, system integrations, and failover strategies.
Manage sprint planning activities including story sizing, velocity estimation, and backlog grooming.
Execute user story development, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
Provide support for QA, UAT, release planning, and post-go-live operations.
Enforce coding standards and maintain reusable technical assets to ensure governance.
Analyze and improve application performance using Pega-specific diagnostic tools.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or a related field.
5 years of experience in any Pega system architecture role with healthcare prior authorization.
Pega System Architect certification is required.
Experience building responsive user interfaces using Pega’s design system, including custom UI components and CSS overrides.
Expertise in designing case types, stages, processes, and implementing decision tables and trees.
Proficiency in integrating external systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, JMS, and other protocols.
Experience with data modeling, database configuration, and managing enterprise class structures.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and CI/CD pipeline automation for Pega applications.
