What you'll do

Develop REST web services using Java and Spring Boot to connect mobile applications to backend systems.
Design software solutions for business requirements using Java and J2EE technologies.
Perform peer reviews of team members' user stories and approve code changes to ensure best practices.
Prepare deployment and post-deployment plans to support the conversion and deployment of software solutions.
Provide production support by monitoring application health and resolving production incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide fix and deployment support for production issues.
Perform impact analysis on new business requirements to identify affected systems and design solutions.
Provide high-level and detailed level estimates for new software requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development role.
Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience gathering requirements from business users and preparing Requirement Understanding Documents (RUD).
Experience performing impact analysis on new business requirements and designing effective software solutions.
Experience preparing and submitting high-level and detailed level estimates for new requirements.
Experience developing software solutions for system enhancements using Java and J2EE technologies.
Experience performing unit testing, integration testing, and application support and maintenance activities.
Proficiency with Spring, Struts, JavaScript, CSS, Servlets, JSP, Web services, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, SQL, IBM DB2, IBM RAD for WebSphere, Eclipse, WinSCP, DbVisualizer, Putty, ServiceNow, Serena Dimensions, and Unix.
