The Software Engineering Advisor joins the team to design and develop a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake for critical Customer, Provider, Claims, Client, and Benefits data. This role involves developing methods to identify patterns in large datasets, designing RESTful APIs, and building event-driven services in distributed environments. You will develop, support, and enhance health kit applications' API and frontend layers while ensuring low-latency, high-availability performance and data protection. Key technical requirements include experience with Node.js, fastify, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, Python, and ReactJs. You will utilize AWS for scalable containerized applications, manage CI/CD pipelines, and implement FHIR standards. The work focuses on creating a definitive enterprise information environment for strategic decision-making within the pharmacy domain.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop a consolidated enterprise data warehouse and data lake.
  • Develop and implement methods to identify relationships and patterns in large datasets.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services in a distributed environment.
  • Process, store, and quickly retrieve huge volumes of data.
  • Develop, support, and enhance existing health kit applications’ API and frontend layers.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performance-oriented applications.
  • Implement security and data protection measures across all systems.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize applications for efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience developing healthcare applications within the pharmacy domain.
  • Experience analyzing, defining, designing, implementing, and deploying full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience designing and developing Microservices systems with Node.js and fastify server.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting web-based and client server multi-tier applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with RESTFUL Web Services, Dynamo Database with Node JS framework, and AWS cloud technologies.
  • Experience implementing applications using FHIR standard, including designing, integrating, and consuming FHIR APIs.
  • Proficiency using JavaScript, Typescript, Ruby, Python, and ReactJs.
