What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Build SDD tooling to derive contract checks, mocks, and validations from machine-readable specifications like OpenAPI and JSON Schema.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Lead communities of practice to promote the awareness and use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Contribute to the rollout of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Specification-Driven Development (SDD) practices.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot with strong coding skills.
Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants/agents to design, implement, test, and debug production code.
Experience defining test scenarios and automating unit and integration tests.
Experience in build and deployment processes using Bitbucket, Git, Jules, and CLOUD.
Knowledge of EKS, Kafka, and message parsers, and proficiency with Oracle and Cassandra databases.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Experience using AWS - EKS and Bedrock (preferred).
AI-Agentic approach in automation (preferred).
