What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for automated testing, peer reviews, and secure coding practices.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical applicability.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant, and responsible use of AI tools within delivery practices.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
10+ years of hands-on coding experience, primarily in Java and J2EE.
Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot with strong coding skills.
Experience using AI coding assistants to design, implement, test, and debug production code.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted tools while ensuring security and performance standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and secure handling.
Experience defining test scenarios and automating unit and integration tests.
Proficiency with Oracle and Cassandra databases, MQ, Kafka, and message parsers.
