What you'll do

Design and develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain complex algorithms.
Execute technical troubleshooting and build non-conventional solutions for complex technical problems.
Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test code while validating outputs.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure code meets design constraints.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to generate, validate, and refine code for performance and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to security expectations.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience building Java microservices/APIs with Spring Boot, J2EE, and JAX-RS, and distributed systems using the CQRS design pattern.
Experience with Spark, Kafka, Swagger, AVRO, Servlets, JDBC, Oracle, Cassandra, and tools like Maven, Git, JUnit, Mockito, Splunk, Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
Exposure to cloud technologies (preferred).
