Software Engineer, Data & Observability Platforms

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate telemetry, logging, and alerting systems to provide real-time visibility into system health.
• Develop AI-assisted observability tools for proactive issue detection and automated root-cause analysis.
• Build and evolve data pipelines that integrate information from Workday, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
• Create scalable infrastructure and services using open-source technologies on AWS and GCP platforms.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and automated testing gates.
• Develop reusable technical patterns, standards, and documentation to improve developer experience and data reliability.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional software development experience building and operating production systems.
• Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with or interest in observability, telemetry, logging, alerting, data pipelines, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security practices.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS (GCP experience is a plus).
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and system-design principles.
• Experience applying AI or agentic approaches to observability, incident investigation, monitoring, or operational tooling (preferred).
