What you'll do

Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop and improve processes for aircraft composite structures.
Analyze manufacturing processes to minimize scrap, reduce costs, increase capacity, and optimize schedules.
Work with cross-functional teams on the manufacturing floor to identify and solve frontline problems.
Provide data-driven analysis to guide long-term strategic decision-making for multiple programs.
Generate metrics and conduct studies regarding efficiency, cycle times, manpower, and product delivery.
Develop and track recovery plans with management to address unforeseen challenges and maintain customer confidence.
Apply systems thinking to improve product flow from raw material release through final delivery.
Perform capacity planning, rate tool analyses, and facility layout designs for composite operations.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Bachelor's degree for Level 2 or a Master's degree.
Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience for Level 2 or 4 years of experience with a Master's degree for Level 3.
Candidates seeking Level 3 must have at least 6 years of relevant experience if they hold a Bachelor's degree.
Ability to work on an assembly floor is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field.
Preferred: Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
