What you'll do

Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop and improve processes for aircraft composite structures.
Analyze manufacturing processes to minimize scrap, reduce costs, increase capacity, and optimize schedules.
Work with cross-functional teams on the manufacturing floor to identify and solve frontline problems.
Provide data-driven analysis for long-term strategic decision making in collaboration with program leadership.
Generate metrics and conduct studies regarding efficiency, cycle times, manpower, and product delivery.
Develop and track recovery plans with manufacturing management to address unforeseen challenges.
Apply systems thinking to improve product flow from raw material release through final delivery.
Perform capacity planning, rate tool analyses, and facility layout designs for composite operations.

What we're looking for

Must possess U.S. citizenship for government clearance requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access.
For Level 2: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree.
For Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
Ability to work on an assembly floor.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field.
Preferred: Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred: Proficiency using the full suite of Microsoft Office tools.
