JOB TITLE: (Skillbridge) – Computer Systems Analyst - 2 The Computer Systems Analyst joins the Warfighter Training team as a Training System Integrator to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense System Trainer. This role involves operating and maintaining the Fire Control & Communications system for daily sustainment training. Key responsibilities include verifying system parameters, developing configuration solutions to meet customer requirements, and supporting new hardware and software installations. The analyst will perform local test and checkout procedures, manage system logs, and resolve network or simulation issues. Technical requirements include proficiency with UNIX/LINUX command line interfaces, Python coding or scripting, and technical communications. The position addresses the business problem of providing realistic, integrated training environments for missile defense systems, ensuring that all simulation components function properly for warfighter preparation and system upgrades.

What you'll do

Operate and maintain the GFC/C system for daily sustainment training at the MDIOC facility.
Verify system parameters, formats, and training configurations to ensure proper system function.
Interface daily with internal, external, and Government personnel during training and system upgrades.
Develop and determine system configuration solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
Support new hardware and software installations for all GST systems at the MDIOC.
Configure GFC systems using UNIX/LINUX command line interfaces and other delivered tools.
Perform local test and checkout procedures to verify new systems are ready for integration.
Identify and report system anomalies while performing daily system cleanup and maintaining logs.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant program experience.
Must possess a Master’s Degree or 0 years of experience in the same disciplines.
Relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
Interim Secret security clearance is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must have technical analysis and technical communications experience.
Experience working in a classified environment at a government-based facility (preferred).
Experience with GMD/GFC/C, UNIX/Linux platforms, or Python coding (preferred).
