What you'll do

Oversee and lead the reliable operations of multi-user computer systems in support of classified government contracts.
Analyze customer requirements to determine necessary hardware and software solutions for technical problems.
Implement system enhancements, including automation, to improve performance through patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
Manage file systems, disk space, virus protection, and ensure compliant backup and recovery services.
Test and oversee new product releases to ensure compatibility and minimize impact on end users.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures for the organization.
Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, firmware, software, operating systems, networks, and applications.
Mentor professionals to grow and develop internal technical talent.

What we're looking for

Must possess an Associate’s degree with 10 years experience, Bachelor’s with 8 years, Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
A High School diploma and 12 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Must possess a current Government Top Secret security clearance or be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation Program.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance is required.
Must hold a valid Security+ certification as per U.S. Government 8140 requirements.
Experience designing and maintaining Windows domain architectures, including Active Directory, GPOs, and permissions in classified environments.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and work on-site at the Bethpage, NY location.
